HERE WE GO!!!!

AHHHHH!! I don't even know where to start! Hahaha I love it here. The spirit is so powerful here! My favorite part of the day is putting my name tag on and being a representative of christ.

The first miracle was that my companion also went to byuhawaii! We had never met each other but it was a good way to get to know each other. She is 22 (sister lallatin) so I kinda feel like she is my mom here - I always tease her hahaha - but she is the cutest ever and she is so sweet and COOL. I always tell her that our names rhyme and she makes fun of me and says they don't. We get along super well, so I got lucky with the companion part of it. My district (the people we are with all the time and go to classes with all day) is AWESOME. I love them all so much and they are all so sweet and cool and have such strong testimonies. I have already learned SO much. It feels so good to forget everything and to focus completely on something SO GOOD.

Our days have been packed with classes... it is always go go go. So it is pretty exhausting but I've heard it gets better so I'm hoping that's true hahahah. It is pretty overwhelming at times but I always remind myself why I am doing this!! We got to go to the provo temple this morning! We share a room with another companionship of sisters and they are so sweet! 

My district loves sand volleyball and saying the word "sick" bahahaha they are a bunch of weirdos but I love them to death and we are already all such good friends.

One of my favorite things I learned this week was that God is MERCIFUL. He doesn't keep track of all the times we don't read our scriptures or don't pray. He doesn't count your failures. But he REJOICES in your accomplishments and successes and when you do those little important things. He cheers you on.

Alma 32:22 says,

"And now, behold, I say unto you, and I would that ye should remember, that God is merciful unto all who believe on his name; therefore he desireth, in the first place, that ye should believe, yea, even on his word".

I love re-learning, on a deeper level, the simple and beautiful truths of the gospel of jesus christ. They are powerful and they are TRUE.
